Use Cases

Welcoming, Guiding & Entertaining

In commercial spaces (stores, malls, train stations, hospitals, airports, etc.), our robots welcome (in multiple languages) and tell jokes, to improve customer experience and reduce tension.

In a supermarket, our robots advise on food and wine pairing, in order to help customers and increase the average basket.

By using their chatbot and tablet, our robots inform about a designated area, make announcements and indicate where a product, a department, a person or a shop is located. The information is displayed on their tablet and the robot explains the path to follow. They can also guide the person to the requested place, product or person. Using their cameras as well as facial recognition technology, our robots make sure that the person follows them at all time and arrives at his/her destination. Our robots thereby help team members in performing their tasks and ensure that the visitor finds what he/she is looking for, does not get lost or does not enter a restricted area.

Inventory, Maintenance & Security

Our robots patrol the premises (the store, the office, a factory floor, etc.) and thanks to their cameras and image recognition technology, they systematically and with regularity identify unusual events (puddles, holes in the ground/walls/pipes, unauthorized personnel, objects left in an office, etc.) or scan shelves (in stores, factories, etc.). The robot then takes a photo of the item (or void when scanning shelves) and sends it (via email, a notification or other) to the appropriate team member (maintenance, security, logistics, etc.). Our robots thereby ensure the safety of the premises, cleanliness, regular maintenance and product availability.

Using their cameras and image recognition technology, our robots systematically and with regularity crisscross the premises to take pictures, create 3D plans or make specific measurements (with a dedicated device for example).

Meet the Robots

Waldo the robot

Waldo

Waldo is an autonomous, humanoid, multipurpose robot with an adjustable height between 1m30 and 1m70.

Waldo comes with or without options such as a tablet, payment terminal or hands, depending on your specific needs.

Waldo is autonomous, moving around freely in a dedicated area using an internal map of the premises. He is programmed to avoid any type of obstacles thanks to his LIDARs, his sonars and his cameras.

Waldo welcomes, talks, understands and communicates with people thanks to his chatbot software and his tablet.

Waldo identifies elements, objects and people with his cameras, 3D cameras and image recognition software.

Waldo the robot

Trash Can Robot

A trash can robot that moves amongst people so that they can throw their waste.

The robot is autonomous, moving around freely in a dedicated area using an internal map of the premises. He is programmed to avoid any type of obstacles thanks to his LIDARs, his sonars and his cameras.

Using 3D cameras and image recognition software, the robot identifies when a person is calling him (raising his hand).

The robot is equipped with a probe that analyzes its filling rate. Once full, the robot returns to its base and alerts a maintenance agent (SMS, notification, email) that will come and empty the trash can.

The robot is built by Immersive Robotics but designed by our client SNCF and is available with another design (under development).
